Workshop Mechanic
The OpportunitY
Hands-on workshop role for someone who likes variety.
We’re looking for a workshop mechanic and all-rounder to service and repair a wide range of mobile plant, light vehicles and site equipment at our Bibra Lake workshop. No two days are the same: one day it’s a scheduled service, the next it’s an EWP, a forklift or helping the trades with a bigger job.
- Servicing and repairing mobile plant, light vehicles and site gear, including EWPs and forklifts.
- Completing pre-start checks on workshop forklifts, cranes and vehicles.
- Supporting the trades with servicing, repairs and general workshop tasks.
- Using hand tools, power tools and lifting and access equipment safely.
- Keeping the workshop and yard clean, organised and safe.
- Pitching in on non-trade tasks to keep the workshop moving.
What are we looking for
You’re practical, safety-minded and happy to get stuck into whatever the day needs. A Certificate III in Automotive, Mobile Plant or Heavy Diesel is ideal, but we’ll also consider solid workshop experience.
You’ll also need:
- A current C class driver licence (HR is a bonus).
- A current forklift License.
- Experience with workshop tools and equipment.
- To be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
- To pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
What we offer you
- Competitive pay plus bonuses.
- Paid employee referral program.
- Ongoing training and development.
- EAP counselling and wellbeing support for you and your family.
- Stable, Perth-based workshop role with a varied workload.
- Join a growing, 100% Australian-owned business.
