Workshop Mechanic
The Opportunity
We are seeking a workshop technician / all-rounder (diesel, LV, mobile) responsible for conducting servicing and repairs on a wide range of mobile plant & equipment.
Based out of our workshop in Bibra Lake, you will become a part of our highly valuable team, performing scheduled maintenance & general workshop and yard hand work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct servicing and repairs on a wide range of mobile plant & equipment, including light vehicles and additional site gear – EWPs, forklifts, and more
- Perform pre-start checks on workshop equipment including forklifts, cranes, and vehicles
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting/access equipment
- Support trades with servicing, repairs, and general workshop tasks
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Complete non-trade tasks as required to support the team
What are we looking for
- Certificate III in Automotive, Mobile Plant, or Heavy Diesel Mechanic is ideal
- A current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence (HR is a bonus)
- Forklift licence (current)
- Experience using metalworking tools and workshop equipment
- Physically fit – able to lift up to 25kg
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
